Kraig J. Roesch, President and Chief Executive Officer

Kraig Roesch is a native Coloradoan growing up on a family farm in the southeast corner of the state near Lamar. Kraig received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance from Colorado State University in 1991.

In 1994 Kraig graduated from the University of Denver, College of Law and was admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado that fall. He spent the next four years in private practice and as a contract prosecutor in Bent County Colorado as well as a partner in a cow–calf operation.

Kraig then spent two years as a financial manager and attorney for Conti Beef, LLC in Lamar, Colorado. He joined USDA Packers & Stockyards Program in July 2000 as a Legal Specialist and continued in that role until becoming Regional Director of the Western Regional Office in July 2012.

In April 2018 Kraig joined the National Livestock Producers Association as President and CEO.

Mona Wolverton, Chief Operating Officer

Mona joined NLPA in 2012 and now serves as the Chief Operating Officer. She has over 25 years of administrative experience in the non-profit, corporate and government sectors.  Mona has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Mexico.

Bobbie Williams, Bookkeeper

Bobbie Williams joined NLPA in 2012 as Director of Finance. Bobbie was raised in Tyler, Texas and Mount Pleasant, Iowa. She majored in Business Administration at Southeastern Iowa Community College and the University of Iowa.

Bobbie has owned and operated a successful bookkeeping business in Colorado Springs for over 30 years.

She is a specialist in small business bookkeeping and trains and consults with business owners in the operation of both QuickBooks and Sage 50 / Peachtree accounting software.


Polly Welden, Marketing

Born and educated in Iowa, Polly lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 23 years, working in media, corporate public relations, advertising agencies, as a marketing consultant and as owner of two event management businesses. Polly moved to Colorado Springs in 2005. Prior to marketing for NLPA, she served as the Communications and Marketing Director at the Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce.

Mona Wolverton

Polly has served the Pikes Peak Advertising Federation as a board member for four years and is a Past President of the New Mexico Advertising Federation. She has served P.E.O. as President of two Chapters and Convention Chair. Polly is also a free-lance writer, graphic designer and voice talent, and has been a small market TV news anchor and game show producer.
